Mechanical Technician role at Thames Water, based at Crossness / Abbey Wood in London. You will maintain waste treatment equipment, perform proactive and reactive maintenance, and ensure safety and efficiency across the site.
The role offers a 38-hour week (Mon-Fri, 7:30-3:36) with standby and overtime options, and it includes benefits such as a contributory pension and health assessments.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Crossness Sewage Treatment Works.
As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our waste treatment works is safe to use and running efficiently, using proactive and reactive maintenance methods to assist in keeping such a site running.

Base Location – Crossness – SE2 9AQ
Working Pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday.7:30 am -3:36 pm. Plus standby & overtime opportunity, increasing earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000 upon completion of essential company training.
Equipment: All PPE, tools, plus the provision of a Van when on duty and on call.
