Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician for a highly successful international manufacturer of forklift trucks. Enjoy comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities for progression into field service and management roles.

The role is suitable for engineers with experience in plant, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural equipment, or similar. Automotive technicians and motor trade applicants with mechanical service and repair skills, including engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills, are encouraged to apply.

You will be based at a client site, responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on equipment such as forklifts, HGVs, Tractors, and Lighting Towers. Responsibilities include ordering spares and communicating progress. The site features over 200 pieces of equipment and a dedicated workshop.

Role Overview

• Perform PDIs, servicing, and repairs on forklifts and other equipment in a workshop and on-site environment.
• Work Monday to Friday in a busy workshop setting.
• Order spares as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literacy.
