Viridor Limited in Exeter seeks a hands-on Mechanical Technician to maximise plant reliability. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support maintenance planning while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.
Experience in heavy industrial environments, CMMS familiarity, and ability to work within Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work, plus a collaborative, proactive approach, are highly valued.

Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest n etwork of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in Exeter for a Mechanical Technician to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus a 1 in 4 callout.
The salary for this role will be £49,129.00 per year , plus participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a key role in maximising the long-term reliability and availability of the plant. Working as part of the mechanical maintenance team, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities, helping to protect the value of our assets and support the achievement of operational and financial targets.

We're looking for a practical, safety-focused maintenance professional with experience in a heavy industrial, process or power generation environment.
