Role Overview

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join a growing engineering company based in Essex.

As the Mechanical Technician, you will assist in machining, manufacturing, and building enclosures, equipment, and machinery on the factory floor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for fitting and assembly work on the factory floor, as well as conducting trials and tests on large-scale machinery.
• Responsible for piping, testing, and fault-finding pneumatic logic circuits.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to assemble, commission, support, and service machinery.

Role Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Good basic engineering skills, practical engineering experience, and the ability to interpret equipment assembly drawings.
• Ideally, some exposure to pneumatics and installation/commissioning work at customer sites.
