A leading maritime technology company is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to work in the Port of Blyth facility. You will be responsible for assembly, installation, and testing of complex project equipment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The role offers opportunities for UK and international travel alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including health cover and pension contributions.
As a Multi Skilled Technician you will join an established and experienced team working under a Construction Supervisor at the Royal IHC Ltd Port of Blyth facility.
The role requires carrying out the sub-assembly, build and installation of project equipment on a daily basis liaising with the Construction, Commissioning and Engineering teams as required.
You will be able to work independently in the assembly and installation of equipment with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. In addition to assembly and installation responsibilities, the role will also include support of function testing, commissioning and FAT of project equipment, with the potential to operate equipment at various remote sites.
You will be required to comply with all Royal IHC Ltd HSE and QA requirements including completion of build and test documentation and use of internal reporting systems.
A good knowledge of offshore and subsea equipment is required and previous experience with assembly, testing or operation of Royal IHC Ltd equipment would be advantageous but not essential.
A flexible approach to work would be demonstrated as overtime and shift working may be necessary to meet project demands.
This role may require UK and international travel from time to time.
