Programmed Industrial Maintenance provides workforce management and training services to ensure businesses have the skilled staff they need. We're currently seeking a Supervisor for a mechanical project at a mine site in Traralgon, Victoria.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Supervisor to lead day-to-day mechanical and conveyor work at the mine. You'll ensure compliance with safety and inspection standards while fostering a strong safety culture with your leadership.

Requirements

• Must have a valid trade certificate.
• Experience in a supervisory or site lead role.
• SAP experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of permit systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mechanical operations, ensuring adherence to Mine Safety and Inspection standards.
• Manage personnel, equipment, and the execution of mechanical activities.
• Assign tasks to the maintenance team to meet targets and deliver the maintenance plan.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and relevant regulations.
• Ensure activities are carried out in line with the maintenance plan and work instructions.
• Minimize plant downtime and respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs as needed.
