Job description

Astute's Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the Boiler package on a 12-month contract for its Scotland site.

The Mechanical Supervisor role comes with a rate of £400-£550 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Mechanical Supervisor in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of the boiler package.
2. Supervise boiler-related works, including pressure part erection, piping systems, insulation, refractory lining, and auxiliary equipment installation.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and identify potential risks.
4. Assist in managing subcontractors to ensure work is completed to required standards and within agreed timelines.

Location, Remuneration, and Timeframe:

• Location: Scotland
• Outside IR35
• Rate: £400-£550 per day
