Job description

Valens Construction is looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for an ongoing project in East London. The project involves refurbishing a large office building, initially including demolition and first fix work, followed by second fix as the project develops.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site schedule of work and site teams on a commercial project.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractor teams.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks, Daily Briefings, and prepare RAMS.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company safety standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Foster relationships between clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Have good knowledge of plumbing and material ordering.
• Handle estimations and variations as required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Mechanical degree or professional qualification.
• Possess relevant Skills card.
• Have an approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within the construction industry.
• Complete Health & Safety Training.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Must have SSSTS or SMSTS certification and a valid Mechanical Skills Card.
