A leading fire and security company based in Luton is seeking a Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer to service and maintain sprinkler systems across the UK. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in mechanical installation and a full driving license. Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
  • Competent with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems.
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  • Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems.
  • Undertake Mechanical Servicing of Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels.
  • Provide information to quote upgrades or modifications of systems.

Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer - London Essex, Kent - other areas considered Oxford, Luton, Milton Keynes

Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer covering the South.

  • Competitive basic salary upto £40,000 subject to experience and location

Our Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer’s

Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large projects works across the UK, ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

  • Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems
  • Forward planning in regard to the parts requirements on installation works, placing parts orders, liaising with site management and coordinating with other trades.
  • You will be expected to work both independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works.
  • Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines and then discussing these requirements with new and existing customers. The company will provide initial training for these elements of your role and continued ongoing support.
  • You will receive field support and training for all disciplines you undertake.

  • At least 2-3 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe intallation
  • Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems, be able to carry system change overs and be competent with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems.
  • A working practice of BS9251
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in the field independently
  • Flexible to work across single and multiple site locations
  • Full Driving Licence
