Job Description

Position: MEP Manager (Fire Sprinkler Systems)

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the Fire Sprinkler aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems. This role is essential in ensuring all MEP components are designed, installed, and maintained to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full process from pre-construction, installation, snagging, to post-delivery service.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of fire sprinkler system installations.
  3. Ensure all installations are completed on time and to British Standards.
  4. Lead and support installation teams, engineers, and technicians.
  5. Maintain strong communication with installation teams, clients, and other trades throughout the project.
  6. Travel to various project sites to ensure full oversight of ongoing work.
  7. Ensure that Health & Safety files are up-to-date and compliant.
  8. Handle projects with values ranging between £1k - £1 million.
  9. Prepare detailed reports on project status, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Requirements:
  1. Proficient in Mechanical Project Management.
  2. Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit design software.
  3. Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. SMSTS qualification is ideal, but the company is willing to sponsor candidates to undertake the course.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
