Job summary

You will ensure safe, efficient delivery of works, maintaining high standards and effective communication with stakeholders. CIS or PAYE engagement is available.

• Experience in industrial, process or mechanical engineering environments.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• CSCS Card.

Due to continued project growth, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Site Engineer to join an established engineering contractor on an exciting project based in Wirral, Merseyside.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical pipework installations and previous experience working in a site-based management or engineering role.

As Site Manager / Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities, coordinating with contractors and project teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager or Site Engineer.


• Strong background in mechanical pipework installations – essential.


• Experience within industrial, process or mechanical engineering environments.


• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.


• Valid CSCS Card.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to coordinate site activities and manage contractors effectively.


• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and site procedures.
