Overview

Time 4 Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Site Supervisor for 18 months work to join a highly reputable M&E Contractor for Projects in Aberystwyth.

This award winning Electrical and Mechanical Contractor is noted for their delivery and quality of projects and cover a number of sectors including commercial, industrial, government and healthcare sectors.

As Mechanical Site Supervisor you will be supporting the Mechanical Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and support by the management team and report to the project Manager
• Responsible for managing all aspects of the project at a site level. This will include
• Managing mechanical operatives, managing subcontractors, and the installation of various packages is compliant with the drawings and specification.
• Manage all health, safety and environmental compliance on site including carrying out toolbox talks to operatives and sub-contractors.
• Ensure compliance you will need to ensure you are familiar with the company\'s latest policies and stay up to date with any changes to company procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring the installation is done to the highest quality of workmanship using our internal QA procedures to record and track the quality process.
• Report all on site progress and support the customer by attending various site meetings. You will also assist with the commissioning and handover process.

Requirements and Qualifications

• You must have a minimum 5 years\' experience as a mechanical site supervisor on large scale commercial projects
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• Overall knowledge and good understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems and their installation methods.
• Previous experience of managing a range of subcontractors is desirable.
• Good time management skills, the ability to multitask and have excellent attention to detail.
• Good IT Skills with experience in Microsoft Office
• Hold a full UK driving license.
