Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. Operating within the data centre sector, this permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of essential mechanical building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services
• Ensure all relevant permits are in place
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team
• Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality), RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), etc.
• Coordinate on-site plant hire, tools, and labour
• Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors
• Manage relevant external correspondence
• Order all day-to-day site materials
• Update appropriate information for progress reports
• Maintain Document Management System
• Manage project-specific scheduling
• Communicate changes to the project team
• Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring

Job Requirements

• Relevant trade qualifications or further education in mechanical building services
• Experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager role or similar
• People management experience
• Beneficial project management experience
• Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel if required
