The ideal candidate will have proven experience in healthcare projects and a strong background in renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager in renewable energy projects.
• Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and other low-carbon technologies.
• Background in healthcare environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site management of all mechanical works including health & safety compliance.
• Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Progress reporting to the Project Manager.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Site Manager with a background in delivering low-carbon technologies and complex mechanical systems? Were working with a leading M&E contractor on an exciting opportunity based on a high-profile healthcare site in Northallerton

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing the installation and coordination of mechanical systems including:

Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)

This project is set within a live healthcare environment, so experience working on healthcare-related projects or in a live environment is highly desirable. You will ensure works are completed safely, to spec, and within programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Site management of all mechanical works

Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers

Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site regulations

Progress reporting to the Project Manager

Quality assurance and snagging

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager

Background in renewable energy or low-carbon projects (ASHP, solar, heat networks)

Strong leadership and coordination skills

Experience in healthcare or live environments (preferred)

Experience working in a live environment (essential)

SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant H&S certifications

Start Date:

July 2025
