Job Description:

A leading, established, and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor. Candidates should have an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation background and be based in or near West Sussex, with the ability to commute to Chichester.

You will be an 'off the tools' manager, present on site managing, coordinating, and inspecting mechanical installation works on one project at a time, with project values ranging from £1.5M to £30M.

We are looking for a true professional with direct mechanical site management or supervisory experience, capable of managing on-site installations in commercial and industrial environments, including new industrial sheds for warehousing, distribution, food production, automotive showrooms, and manufacturing facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a background in M&E / Building Services, with hands-on experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or Mechanical Supervisor, overseeing mechanical installations and related services.

You should have a proven track record in managing Mechanical Engineers, Industrial Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVAC Engineers, Mechanical Supervisors, and Foremen, working on schemes of this level.

While the company has its own team of mechanical engineers, you will collaborate with other specialists to complete some installation tasks.
