A leading, established, and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings is seeking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor. Candidates should have a background in M&E / Building Services mechanical installation to join their ongoing growth and success.

Candidates must be based in or near West Sussex, with the ability to commute to Chichester for site work.

You will serve as an 'off the tools' manager, overseeing, coordinating, and inspecting mechanical installation works on one project at a time. Projects can range from £1.5M to £30M.

The ideal candidate is a true professional with direct mechanical site management or supervisory experience, capable of managing on-site installations in commercial and industrial environments. Projects may include new industrial sheds for warehousing, distribution, food production, automotive showrooms, and manufacturing facilities.

Candidates from an M&E / Building Services background with direct experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisor are highly sought after. You should have a proven track record in managing Mechanical Engineers, Industrial Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVAC Engineers, and Mechanical Supervisors/Foremen, working on schemes of this level.

You will collaborate with other specialist engineers to undertake various installation elements. The role offers a stable, interesting career with varied projects. You should be confident on site and skilled in mechanical craft, conducting yourself with integrity and professionalism.
