Mechanical Shift Engineer - £46,000 - Hammersmith

📍 Location: Hammersmith

💷 Salary: £46,000 + Overtime

🕒 Hours: 4 on, 4 off - Days and Nights

We are working with a prestigious client who is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to oversee mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building services for a large site in Hammersmith. Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Respond promptly to emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain and repair HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, VRV systems, and water treatment equipment
  • Work on general building maintenance tasks as required, including pumps, boilers, drainage, and plumbing
  • Conduct fault-finding and repair on key mechanical systems
  • Operate and manage BMS (Building Management System) and Head End Controls
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ideally, 3 years of experience in building services maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose faults effectively
  • Motivated to succeed and develop within the role
