A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, working on a prestigious banking contract in Canary Wharf. This role suits a skilled engineer eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
As part of a maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring mechanical services operate efficiently.
Please note this role will transition to full shift in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
Conduct routine maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on HVAC, boilers, pumps, and plumbing
Daily PPM and reactive tasks
Emergency callouts
Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance
Complete logbooks and RAMS
Support compliance standards
Maintain operational KPIs and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
City & Guilds Mechanical Qualifications or equivalent
Experience in mechanical maintenance in critical settings
Comfortable working shifts and participating in on-call rota
Strong problem-solving and technical skills
