Job Overview

This is a site-based position. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineer to join our engineering team. Our skilled engineers are employed on work appropriate to their core and specialist skills, with expectations to acquire additional skills for flexible work across trades. Suitable training and up-skilling may be provided as needed.

Working hours: This is a shift position consisting of 12-hour days and nights.

Key duties include:

1. Providing reactive and planned proactive maintenance (PPM) services to all operational assets as per project requirements.
2. Carrying out modifications and installations as needed.
3. Liaising with contractors or external suppliers and communicating technical issues clearly.
4. Ensuring work is completed to high standards, compliant with legal standards, policies, and procedures.
5. Maximizing equipment availability through continuous improvement, performance optimization, and cost reduction.
6. Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to ensure reliability and maintainability.
7. Supporting key performance indicators (KPI) and service level agreements (SLA).
8. Managing tools and equipment, reporting defects immediately.
9. Providing technical support for projects and initiatives.
10. Completing work safely, diligently, and responsibly, with proper documentation and reporting.
11. Participating in training and development activities.
12. Providing excellent customer service to building occupants.
13. Walking floors proactively to identify maintenance or H&S issues and reporting them.

Health and Safety responsibilities:

• Following policies and procedures, reporting deficiencies, and using PPE properly.
• Reporting issues or training needs to managers.
• Taking personal responsibility for health & safety matters.

Qualifications:

• AC/HVAC-NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning/Maintenance.
• Desirable: F Gas Qualification.
• Plumbing-NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (Essential), experience acceptable.
• Mechanical experience in Mechanical Engineering (Essential).
