Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Services Engineer to manage building and maintenance projects for a company in Derby.

You will provide technical specialist advice in Mechanical Building Services Engineering, ensuring that all works are carried out in an efficient manner, setting performance specifications and standards and being responsible for ensuring works meet the required quality standards, including ensuring that the legislative duties under Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 are discharged effectively with particular reference to water hygiene and legionella.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with water hygiene and legionella
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, inspections, and repair reports
  • Good IT skills

This is a hybrid role, split between home, site, and the office.

Salary for this position is 46,000.
