A leading provider of CNC machine tools seeks a Mechanical Service Engineer to provide service and support across high-precision machinery in a dynamic team. Responsibilities include servicing CNC machines, performing diagnostics, and supporting clients throughout the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical engineering qualifications and hands-on experience with CNC tools.

Mechanical Service Engineer Lancashire

Are you an experienced Mechanical Service Engineer looking to work with a leading provider of CNC machine tools and advanced manufacturing solutions? We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our dynamic team, providing service and support across a range of high-precision CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools, primarily lathes and machining centres.

  • Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics.

  • Performing ballscrew and linear guide replacements, spindle exchanges, gib adjustments/scraping, geometrical alignments, and machine installations.

  • Occasional involvement with EDM machines would be advantageous.

  • Working both independently and as part of a team to support clients across the UK and Europe when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Mechanical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.

  • Solid hands-on experience with CNC machine tools.

  • Familiarity with Fanuc and Okuma controls is beneficial.

  • Previous exposure to EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines is highly desirable but not essential.
