Job summary

Adept:us is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead delivery of mechanical building services projects from Bristol with a mix of office and site work. You will oversee projects across the South and South West from planning through to handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with health & safety requirements.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical/building services, proven experience managing multiple projects, and excellent client

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple mechanical projects.
• Background in an M&E, Building Services or Mechanical contractor.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing installations.
• Good commercial awareness and project budgeting.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Develop project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
• Manage mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineers and suppliers.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Monitor programme, costs, quality and overall project performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant health & safety requirements.
• Take overall responsibility for the performance of your project teams.

We’re working with an established and growing M&E contractor looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their Bristol-based team.

You’ll take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical building services projects, predominantly across healthcare, education and commercial environments.

The role offers plenty of autonomy and will involve a mixture of office and site-based working, managing projects across the South and South West from initial planning through to completion.
