Client: Our client is an established specialist plumbing and pipework contractor who have been operating for over 25 years and have strong technical capability in mechanical systems in commercial and industrial sectors. They are versatile in scope: new build, shell & core, fit-outs and refurbishments. Project values tend to range between £5,000-£2,500,000. Their client base include several well known Tier 1 building services contractors.

Role: Mechanical Project Manager - Reading - £280-£350 per day

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing design liaising with client and consultants
  • RFIs - Liaison with client team and sub contractors
  • Value Engineering where applicable
  • Programming of works
  • Health & Safety management (RAMs)
  • Commercial Responsibility
  • Team Coordination (overseeing engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
  • Progress meetings with client and internal meetings
  • Overseeing commissioning stages
  • Assisting with coordination and management of labour
  • Health & Safety
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services.
  • Experience working in the commercial sector.
