Job summary

Core Search in Leicestershire seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical package on a flagship project valued around £10M+. You will drive delivery from inception through to handover, coordinating design, procurement, and site activities while maintaining safety, quality and schedule.

You will manage subcontractors, oversee budgets and programmes, and work closely with the client and consultants to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mechanical building services packages on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical installations.
• Experience managing programmes, subcontractors and project budgets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Mechanical Project Manager | Leicestershire | Up to £85,000 + Travel

I'm currently partnering with a well-established £50M+ turnover M&E contractor who have secured a flagship new build project in Leicestershire. With a project valuation of £10M+, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical package on a major, technically challenging project, working from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the mechanical package from inception to completion.
