A Mechanical Contractor, established over 100 years ago, is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager.
Your new role
Attend post-tender and pre-contract review meetings with clients and main contractors to discuss and agree on contract scope, including commercial and contractual matters.
Post-contract award, carry out initial equipment checks with the design team and advise them of any concerns early to avoid procurement, programming, or financial issues later.
Develop equipment procurement and buying schedules for allocated contracts, send out inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors based on received contract documents for completeness and better purchasing.
Place subcontract and material orders to meet contract requirements, ensuring technical, programmatic, cost, and quality standards.
Monitor site labor, record site activities, number of operatives/subcontractors, and perform cost checks against tender estimates.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within a Building Services background is required.
What you'll get in return
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with a 1-hour lunch break. Some flexibility for site meetings may be necessary.
