Job summary

PT Renewables in South Wales is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical projects end-to-end across commercial, education, healthcare, office fit-out, industrial and public sector sites.

You will own projects from pre-construction through handover, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage programmes and client relationships, and uphold the company's right-first-time delivery standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Project Manager within M&E or building services.
• Track record of delivering projects from pre-con through to completion on time and to budget.
• Experience leading site teams, subcontractors and programme delivery across multiple sites.
• Full UK driving licence.

Mechanical Project Manager | South Wales | Up to £65k + Vehicle + Bonus

I'm currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for a second-generation family-run business that's grown from a local electrical contractor into one of the largest privately owned engineering groups in Wales.

This isn't a sit-tight-and-tick-boxes contractor. Over 30 years in, they've built a properly joined-up offer across Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Services, Energy, Fire & Security and Data, meaning their PMs aren't stuck running one type of job in isolation. The postholder will run mechanical projects end to end across commercial, education, healthcare, office fit-out, industrial and public sector environments, with a secured pipeline across South Wales.

The role takes ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme and client relationships. They're known in the market for "right first time" delivery, predictable programmes and clean handovers, so they need a PM who can hold that standard and represent the business well in front of clients.

Key Skills

• Strong mechanical project management capability across M&E or building services environments
• Confident running multiple projects and priorities in parallel without dropping balls
• Solid technical grounding in mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework and plant rooms
• Commercially sharp, with good reporting discipline and client-facing communication

Necessary Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E or building services
• Track record of running projects from pre-con through to completion on time and to budget
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and programme delivery across multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence

Based in South Wales with regular travel to sites across South Wales.

Salary up to £70,000 plus company vehicle and bonus scheme.
