Mechanical Project Manager - I currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Mechanical Project Manager to join one of the largest mechanical and electrical contractors in the UK, heading up the mechanical section on a life & science shell & core project.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, your duties will include:

• Overseeing and leading both direct employees and a number of sub-contractors on site
• Collaborating with electrical department to ensure seamless project integration
• Championing health & safety across the whole project
• Monitoring project process and performance
• Face to face client liaison and meetings
• Contributing to project plans, work schedules & resource allocation

The project value is £11 million total with the mechanical package contributing to £6 million. The project start date is in August, but the start date will be ASAP to integrate you into the business. This is a full-time on-site position, and there is a satellite office 15 minutes from the site.

The starting basic salary for the Mechanical Project Manager ranges between £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience. Other benefits include a car allowance of £5,000 per annum, pension contribution up to 5.5%, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as private healthcare.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager
• Ideally a HNC qualification as a minimum
• SMSTS
• Ideally previous Tier 1 contractor experience
