Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services) – £70,000 to £85,000 + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

Join a leading M&E Building Services contractor, based just north of Huntingdon, delivering projects from £1m to £10m across commercial, education, healthcare, data centres, and smart buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Mechanical Project Manager to take full ownership of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to handover. The role is office and site based, commutable from Northampton, Bedford, Cambridge and surrounding areas, and offers involvement in high-profile schemes across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from design stage through to commissioning and handover
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Act as main client contact, ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders
• Provide technical input on design, coordination, and value engineering
• Manage procurement, subcontractor performance, and commercial reporting
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
