Your new company

You will be working for a leading M&E contractor that has continued to grow into one of the largest M&E contractors in the UK. They work on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, and high-end residential. With a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for the right people to join their team for continued growth.

Your new role
  1. Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects to deliver the project on time and within budget.
  2. Familiarise yourself with all project details and specifications.
  3. Collate technical submittals, ensure they are issued, and follow through until approval.
  4. Manage labour tracker.
  5. Maintain weekly Progress Reports, and report and manage any changes/variations.
  6. Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
  7. Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
  8. Ensure the availability of adequate materials to complete the project.
  9. Implement construction and commissioning programmes and plans on site.
  10. Manage K&M handover process and maintain K&M Document Management System.
  11. Develop project-specific scheduling.
  12. Attend meetings with Sub Contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
  13. Participate in general site meetings and address any points raised.
  14. Communicate innovative project-specific works to the Contracts Manager (R&D).
What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • A successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred.
  • Experience supervising teams.
