Mechanical Project Engineer with previous experience in a construction / trade / engineering or similar industry is required for a number of projects based on client sites within the M3 Corridor with a well-established and expanding engineering company.

SALARY: £15 - £22 per Hour (depending on experience) + Benefits

Overtime and Weekend Work is available with Competitive Rates of Pay

LOCATION: Newbury, West Berkshire – Primarily site-based work with travel throughout the M3 Corridor – Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Newbury, West Berkshire (RG20)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT: A full driving licence is required as you will be travelling to client sites throughout the M3 Corridor

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer with previous experience in a construction / trade / engineering or similar industry.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer you will join the team working mainly in the wastewater industry, specialising in providing complete mechanical engineering services from design and fabrication through to installation.

Working as the Mechanical Project Engineer you will work on projects that vary in size and complexity. Projects are managed both individually and as a team – full support is provided by the management team.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Mechanical Project Engineer will include:

• Performing mechanical installations on client sites

• Client interface

• Survey work

• Tendering

• Design input

• Procurement

• Planning / Project delivery

• Completion / handover documents

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Skills preferably gained from a construction / trade / engineering or similar industry

• Previous experience in steel erecting, pipework etc would be beneficial but not essential

• You will be predominantly site-based and a full driving licence is essential

• It is essential that you live within a commutable distance of the Head Office in Newbury, West Berkshire (RG20)
