Position: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Saint Asaph
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + package

Are you a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer with a passion for delivering top-quality construction projects? We're looking for an experienced professional to join a Tier One Contractor working on clean and wastewater projects for Welsh Water.

This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000, along with a comprehensive package, including bonus, car allowance, and excellent career development opportunities.

About the Role:
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll lead and coordinate all mechanical construction activities, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, timeline, and cost objectives. You'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead site teams and subcontractors to uphold safety as the top priority.
·Assemble and mentor a competent team, ensuring individual growth and performance.
·Manage design, procurement, and installation processes efficiently.
·Conduct and document internal and external meetings, including safety, progress, and design reviews.
·Collaborate with the commercial team to procure and manage subcontractor packages.
·Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and site safety documentation.
·Liaise with clients and design teams to align project objectives.
·Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with programme and quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications:
·Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
·NVQ Level 3 or higher (Site Supervision, ONC, or HNC preferred).
·Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and utilities.
·Experience working on clean and wastewater projects.
·Familiarity with NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
·Proficient in IT tools, including document management systems like SharePoint.
·First Aid certification is desirable.

Experience:
·Managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on construction sites.
·Preparing RAMS, quality plans, and risk registers.
·Delivering construction projects in line with tight deadlines and budgets.
