Mechanical Project Engineer – Cryogenic Systems | £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus

Are you a technically-minded Project Engineer with a passion for cryogenic systems and scientific engineering? Join a forward-thinking team where you’ll lead cutting-edge R&D and product development projects from concept to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage technical and critical success factors across the full project lifecycle
2. Plan and deliver engineering projects to time and spec
3. Contribute to or oversee the design of cryogenic equipment
4. Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership
5. Support sales with technical documentation and tender input
6. Perform hands-on testing, wiring, and global system installations
7. Improve engineering processes and contribute to product innovation

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Degree in Physics or Engineering (or related discipline)
2. Experience in product or project engineering within a scientific or R&D setting
3. Understanding of cryogenic equipment and system design
4. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
