Thames Water is recruiting a passionate Civil Project Engineer to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment in London and surrounding areas. Join us in AMP8 to modernise Treatment Works, deliver essential services, and protect the environment for future generations.

What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Project Engineer
  • Assessing project briefs and technical information to support risk mitigation and maximize value before pricing.
  • Working within multidisciplinary project teams following project delivery procedures.
  • Delivering project outputs on time, within budget, and to quality standards through planning and resource forecasting.
  • Developing capabilities and ensuring continuous improvement.

This role is based at Hampton Coal Wharf with a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days in the office or on-site weekly.

A driving license is preferred but not mandatory; applications from non-drivers are welcome.

The role is ideally full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you should bring to the role
  • Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Understanding of developing technical project solutions, especially related to civil scope
  • Knowledge of project delivery in process industries
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, particularly CDM regulations
