Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support modular plantroom projects within building services engineering, under a Programme Manager and team of project managers.

The role focuses on prefabrication of plant room projects for data centres and commercial buildings, with emphasis on planning, scheduling and coordinating from order to delivery. Flexible working hours are offered alongside a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• HVAC installation contractor experience or modular/skid based equipment knowledge (pumps, pipes, valves).
• Experience as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, or Project Manager.
• Plant room knowledge beneficial.

Mechanical Project Engineer – Building Services Engineering HVAC

We are looking for a Project Engineer to work under a Programme Manager and team of project managers to support the ongoing program of builds for modular plantroom projects. The company is a global engineering company.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering prefabricated plant room projects for data centres and commercial buildings
• Planning and scheduling material, labour, and capacity to fit lead times
• Keeping a close view of designs and occasionally designing
• Planning and programming work from time of order to delivery
• Scheduling and coordinating: design, manufacturing, delivery and handover
• Working Monday‑Friday with early finish on Friday

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Likely to have worked in an HVAC installation contractor or a manufacturer of HVAC plant, modular/skid based equipment involving pumps, pipes and valves
• Experience as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, or Project Manager
• Plant room knowledge beneficial
