Are you a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer looking for your next challenge?

We’re hiring an experienced engineer to lead high-value mechanical and electrical (M&E) work packages across major UK construction projects. This is your chance to take ownership of exciting builds, drive quality and innovation, and work with some of the best teams in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&E packages worth up to £10 million
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, safety, and compliance
  • Coordinate project planning, sequencing, and logistics
  • Promote site safety and environmental best practices
  • Ensure technical and regulatory compliance, including with the Building Safety Act
  • Collaborate with design teams, site managers, and stakeholders
  • Monitor budgets, deadlines, and progress against project goals
  • Support procurement forecasting and accurate site record-keeping
  • Drive continuous improvement and sustainable construction solutions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in mechanical project engineering (ideally within large-scale construction)
  • Strong team leadership and contractor management skills
  • Solid knowledge of British Standards and M&E construction practices
  • Excellent planning and coordination abilities
  • Commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and quality
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator
  • Proficiency in BIM and construction software tools
  • Relevant engineering qualification (Chartered status is a plus, not essential)
