Job Description:

Our Principal Consultant, Robin Thomas, is looking for an enthusiastic mechanical production engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery.

Knowledge and prior use of standard workshop tools is necessary, which can be demonstrable either from your career or experience gained in your spare time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Install hydraulic and pneumatic hoses between components
• Creation of sub-assemblies prior to fitting in production
• Fitting of electrical cabling

To excel in this Mechanical Production Technician role, the successful candidates must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.

Each machine built by our client is bespoke to the customer, meaning components fitted to each machine will therefore vary according to specification, so youll need to show an aptitude and eagerness toward a varied workload.

• MondayThursday 07:3016:00 with overtime possible to 18:00
• Friday 07:3015:00 with overtime possible to 17:30
• Overtime is paid at time and a half and is encouraged where possible
• Factory shutdown at Christmas
• Pension contribution and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Starting hourly wage will be dependent on experience
