Job summary

Morgan Jones is recruiting a Mechanical Plumber for Knightsbridge, London, to join a dedicated facilities maintenance team. Salary up to £42,000 DOE, full-time/permanent role with varied commercial/site projects and strong career progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, experience with commercial gas heating, and be able to work independently across plant rooms and related installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or a related discipline.
• Experience working on commercial gas heating systems.
• Experience within plant room installations.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of commercial and domestic heating installations.
• Work on boilers, pipework, valves, pumps, controls, and associated mechanical equipment.
• Complete installation and maintenance of plumbing, drainage, and sanitation systems.
• Diagnose faults and undertake effective problem-solving across mechanical systems.
• Investigate plant performance and system efficiency issues.
• Carry out testing and certification within the scope of qualifications held.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with industry standards.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and service delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of commercial and domestic heating installations.
