RandstadSourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services arecurrently recruiting for an Mechanical Plant Engineer onbehalf of a global CDMO organization.

Rolepurpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible formaintaining mechanical systems and production equipment in accordancewith GMP standards, while also contributing to capital investmentprojects and process improvements.

Keyaccountabilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, andcorrective maintenance on mechanical systems and pharmaceuticalproduction equipment including chemical reactors, centrifuges, dryersand HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to rootcause and implement effective, permanent solutions in compliance withsafety and GMP regulations.
• Collaborate on capital andinvestment projects by providing mechanical engineering expertise,reviewing equipment specifications, layouts, and utility requirements.
• Participate in the review and verification of technicaldocumentation including P&IDs, equipment drawings, datasheets,installation qualifications (IQ), and design documents to ensurecompliance with cGMP and site standards.
• Maintain detailedmaintenance logs and ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, andcompliant with cGMP standards.
• Work closely withcross-functional teams (Production, Quality Assurance, Validation, andEngineering) to support equipment qualification, validationactivities, and process improvements.

Keyrequirements:

• Bachelor's degree in MechanicalEngineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (orequivalent technical qualification).
• Minimum of 3–5 years ofmechanical maintenance experience in a regulated pharmaceutical,biotech, or CMO manufacturing environment.
• Proven experiencewith mechanical system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipmentmaintenance.
• Strong knowledge of GMP standards, chemicalequipment, and facility systems (e.g., WFI, HVAC, clean steam,compressed air).
• Proficient in reviewing and interpretingengineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of automation systems and basic instrumentation
• Must be available for occasional weekend or after-hourssupport.
