Job Description
Are you a Mechanical Engineer, with a background in analysis and design of piping systems and pressure equipment, who thrives on difficult problems? Are you drawn to complex design projects and excited by the opportunity to rapidly move on to leadership positions, heading up projects and guiding junior engineers?
If so, you might enjoy solving the energy industry’s most important pressure equipment design conundrums across a variety of clients. You could be designing systems for cooling safety-critical plant, providing emergency shutdown capability to nuclear reactors, qualifying pipework for fusion reactors, supporting UK Submarine and SMR programmes, or enabling renewable energy projects within a growing carbon net zero portfolio. You’ll likely be juggling several projects simultaneously, so being adaptable is essential. The constant in this role is the complex nature of the jobs and the opportunity to provide innovative solutions for various clients.
Whichever energy-related projects you work on, you'll be engaged in deploying collaborative solutions to ensure safe and reliable plants, making a significant contribution to future energy safety.
If you are a self-starter capable of delivering multiple projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions for challenging problems, we encourage you to apply.
