Job summary

Falcon Green Personnel in Groningen is seeking a Mechanical Package Manager to lead the design and delivery of key mechanical packages on a brand new hyperscale data centre project. This role requires strong leadership, coordination across design and construction teams, and a track record of delivering mission-critical facilities.

You will oversee site operations, manage safety and QA, control changes, liaise with the client, and drive a large project team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
• Ability to control and manage people and programs.
• Engineering degree would be of advantage.
• Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.
• Mission critical experience.
• Pipefitting or plumbing trade backgrounds also considered.
• Commercially astute.
• Strong on design.
• Competent working to aggressive programmes.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the management of Site Safety in conjunction with the project team and the Safety management.
• Play a lead role in the management of Site QA in conjunction with the QA Manager.
• Support in the oversight of all day-to-day site operations.
• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
• Direct management of the project team, including alignment of all discipline leads to the benefit of project goals.
• Liaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship to ensure future project opportunities.
• To manage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensuring all Subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
• Assist in projected labour projections from the field supervisors.
• Assist with the commercial team to ensure all variations are been captured and costs issued to the client.
