This is a mechanically biased role offering the opportunity to join a highly skilled, dynamic maintenance team at our Solihull facility.

You will provide engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment, including automated systems such as robots, welding and joining equipment, laser systems, conveyors, tooling, and lifting equipment. Whether you are an electrical or multiskilled engineer, you will receive training and support to enhance your current qualifications and experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of the Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out mechanical preventative maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
  • Fitting work on machinery and equipment
  • Contributing to equipment and automation projects, including maintenance and improvements
  • Collaborating with operational teams and support functions to manage maintenance operations
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in maintenance operations within manufacturing
  • Technical mechanical and electrical automotive engineering skills
  • Knowledge of PLC, electrical control, and mechanical systems
  • An relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship
