A leading company in the water industry is seeking a Bioresources Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team in Cambridge. Qualifications

  • Experience with inspections and maintenance of gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, valves, and centrifuge equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and complete preventative and proactive maintenance on assets supporting wastewater treatment.
  • Align maintenance activities with Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

Circa £45k depending on experience, (this includes 15% shift allowance) + Overtime is available

Full time, 40.25 hours a week across 7-day working pattern

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, as part of a site maintenance team, you will diagnose, repair, and complete preventative and proactive maintenance on assets supporting wastewater treatment, renewable energy, and bioresource products, aligning with Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

What does it take to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician?

  • NVQ level 2 in mechanical engineering or equivalent, or relevant apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with inspections and maintenance of gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, valves, and centrifuge equipment
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided)
  • Flexible and resilient approach to work, including hours, training, and adapting to business needs
