Job Description:

Are you a skilled mechanical technician with a passion for maintaining and improving complex building systems? We are looking for an experiencedMechanical Maintenance Technicianto join a dedicated Infrastructure and Facilities Management team. Youll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of a wide range of building and mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in systems such as HVAC, piped gases, hot/cold water systems, pressurised systems, MTHW/LTHW, chilled water, and refrigeration.
  • Support statutory monitoring and testing requirements.
  • Liaise with and supervise external contractors, service engineers, etc
  • Contribute to health & safety and quality assurance practices.
  • Support the Senior Maintenance Technician and contribute to the planned maintenance programme.
  • Participate in on-call duties during commissioning and operational phases.

Experience:

  • Strong background in mechanical/building services maintenance.
  • Previous commercial experience with systems such as HVAC, water, refrigeration, or piped gases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Good communication and contractor supervision skills.
  • Health & Safety awareness and familiarity with maintenance risk assessments.
