Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company in the agricultural sector in Northern Ireland. This role involves dayshift work, Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 4 pm. The responsibilities include:

  • Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
  • Repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication
  • Working effectively with engineering drawings
  • Completing maintenance records accurately
  • Adhering to H&S and company policies

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Time served Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment working with automated equipment
  • Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • Preferably experience with fabricating and working with lathes & milling machines
