Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days (Monday to Friday)

Great opportunity for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join one of Northern Ireland's top companies serving the agricultural sector. Working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, you'll carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Shift options may be available in the future with shift premiums for higher earnings, but this position is days-only. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, significantly increasing earnings above £40,000.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown response
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication
  • Working with engineering drawings
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Adhering to H&S and company policies

Requirements:

  • Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer
  • Experience in manufacturing environment with automated equipment
  • Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • Preferably experience with fabricating, lathes, and milling
