Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: University Hospital North Durham
Working Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shifts: Early shift starting 6am, Late shift finishing 8pm - Alternating weeks
Contract: Full-time, permanent

About the role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of a flexible team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality hard FM service across the site. You will act as an Authorised Person / Responsible Officer in relation to specific maintenance responsibilities. You will ensure all maintenance tasks assigned to you are completed to approved statutory standards. The post holder will be responsible for technical fault finding, diagnosis and repair on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, e.g., heat generation, low pressure, heating systems, hot and cold-water services, drainage, air-conditioning etc.
