Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company serving the agricultural sector in Northern Ireland. The position involves carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role is primarily day shifts, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Future shift options may be available with higher earnings due to shift premiums. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, potentially increasing annual earnings above £40,000.

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
  • Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication
  • Work effectively with engineering drawings
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Follow H&S and company policies at all times
Requirements:
  • Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer
  • Experience in manufacturing environments working with automated equipment
  • Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • Preferably experience with fabricating, lathes, and milling
