Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company in the agri-sector in Northern Ireland. This role is based in Doncaster and involves working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The successful candidate will perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  2. Performing preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
  3. Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
  4. Repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  5. Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication
  6. Working effectively with engineering drawings
  7. Completing maintenance records accurately
  8. Adhering to health & safety and company policies

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  1. Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer
  2. Experience working with automated equipment in a manufacturing setting
  3. Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  4. Fabrication experience and working with lathes & milling machines (preferred)

Additional benefits include a generous pension scheme, enhanced annual leave based on service, and a health cash plan. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, increasing earnings above £40,000 annually.
