Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company serving the agricultural sector in Northern Ireland. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Potential shift options with higher earnings may be available in the future, but this position is currently days only. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, significantly increasing earning potential above £40,000 annually.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
  • Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Fit mechanical parts and perform fabrication
  • Work effectively with engineering drawings
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Adhere to health & safety and company policies
Requirements
  • Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer
  • Experience in manufacturing environments working with automated equipment
  • Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • Preferably experience with fabricating, lathes, and milling
