Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company in Northern Ireland's agri sector. This role involves carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, with potential for future shift options and higher earnings through overtime at 1.5x rates, potentially exceeding £40k annually.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
  2. Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
  3. Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues.
  4. Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  5. Fit mechanical parts and perform fabrication tasks.
  6. Work effectively with engineering drawings.
  7. Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  8. Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with automated equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
  • Preferably experience with fabricating, lathes, and milling.
